1. Thistle
One of Boothbay’s oldest establishments, this has long been the place where locals and visitors mingle! Under new ownership this year, but with the same feeling and flair we all love, this is a true classic for dinner or drinks!
2. Carriage House Restaurant
East Boothbay’s favorite! Farm-to-table food, big portions, and something on the menu for everyone! Chef Kelly Farrin is a lifelong local, with lots of awards for his fantastic food!
3. Ports of Italy
A Boothbay classic! Smaller in size, this restaurant is a cozy spot, perfect for a romantic dinner! The homemade pasta is great, the atmosphere is great, and of course, the wine list is extensive!
4. Harborside 1901
If you want a large variety in types of cuisine, this is a great choice! Owned by a Turkish family, this spot serves up everything from sushi, to Mediterranean fare, to unexpected delights like osso bucco! The drinks are great, and the homemade desserts are as beautiful as they are delicious!
5. Fisherman’s Wharf
This is a great spot to catch the fireworks! Right on the harbor, this restaurant is also a great spot to watch the boats go by during the day. You’ll find a well-planned mix of American Fare and New England Classics on their menu. We especially love the Mussels Marinière!
