Cottage Connection of Maine, Inc. has hosted over 200,000 visitors to the coastal Boothbay Region and the Mid Coast over the past 20 years.

For your New England oceanfront or lakefront vacation or family reunion, renting a cottage is an economical option.  Also, it is a great way to experience this wonderful area and “live like a local”.  Renting a private home gives you a sense of freedom and privacy.  Freedoms such as breakfast in your bathrobe at a time of your choosing.  There are just under 100 homes available on our website.  Properties come and go in our program as owner needs change. In addition, we offer a variety of services to make your vacation as carefree as possible. Give us a call and let us take the worry out of renting!  We are that third party that can verify the existence of the property and the accuracy of the information on the web.

We understand that your time here is precious and that you want your stay to be relaxing and hassle-free. Our trained reservationists are here to help you find a cottage that meets your needs and to make that “cottage connection” for a wonderful and memorable vacation.
We are here for you! We provide the extra services and local knowledge that is key to having fun in a new place.  If you want to rent a kayak or get tickets to the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens, we can help.   

Rentals are Cottage Connection’s only business. We have a variety of cottages to meet a variety of needs. We will do our best to find a cottage appropriate to your needs, and you will never take a back seat to someone interested in purchasing a property. While staying in one of our cottages, you can reach us with problems or questions 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, by calling our “after hours” phone number. We will do our best to take care of any problems quickly. We make every effort to make sure your cottage is clean by personally inspecting it before every new arrival and upon check-out. We provide trash removal twice weekly. We offer professionally cleaned linens, if you wish to rent linens rather than bring your own. 

We offer personalized check-in at our Welcome Center in Boothbay on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday or Saturday for arrivals before 6 pm.  Meet our staff.  They are eager to meet you and put faces to names.  Our convenient office location is on your way into Boothbay Harbor. You must pass our office to reach many of our cottages. Our friendly, knowledgeable staff is always available to answer questions before, during and after your stay.
We are really “pet friendly”.  We love animals, especially dogs.  We try very hard to have as many cottages as possible available for that well-behaved four-legged member of the family.
Our office has a fax machine which you may use for a small fee and we can help print boarding passes if needed. You can also have mail and packages delivered to our office.
