Cottage Connection of Maine Safety Commitment

Cottage Connection of Maine is committed to providing our guests with a safe and enjoyable vacation experience. That’s why we offer a variety of safety features in our rental homes and have implemented other safety practices, such as providing guests with a list of emergency contact numbers and inspecting all cottages before guests arrive.

Here are some of the safety features that you can expect to find in our rental homes:

• Smoke detectors
• Carbon monoxide detectors
• Fire extinguishers
• First aid kits
• Paths to entrances lit at night

Some cottages may also have additional safety features, such as:
Air conditioning (in the amenities section of the home’s page, if applicable)
Life jackets (though your own life jackets will always be the best fit!)

In addition to these safety features, we also have the following safety practices in place:

• All cottages are smoke-free.
• Fireworks are not allowed at any of the cottages.
• Outside fires are not permitted at any of the cottages unless they have an approved fire pit.
• We provide guests with a list of emergency contact numbers.
• We inspect all cottages before guests arrive to ensure that they are safe and clean.
