Cottage Connection’s Commitment to Sustainability and Environmental Awareness
Connection owners Jeff and Audrey Miller feel a strong sense of compassion for our environment and wildlife. We have added the Arctic Tern to our logo to call attention to the shorebirds that are a vital part of our world. We want to start conversations and raise awareness of these endangered species and behave in sustainable, eco-friendly ways in all we do.
Cottage Connection is committed to sustainability and environmental awareness. We are proud to partner with the Friends of Maine Coastal Islands Wildlife Refuge Center in Rockland, Maine, to raise awareness for endangered and vulnerable species of wildlife in Maine.
As you approach our office and Welcome Center at 675 Wiscasset Rd Suite A, Boothbay, Maine, you will notice a bird (Arctic Tern) next to our name on the building. This bird represents our commitment to protecting Maine’s natural environment.
We encourage our guests to show their support for these shorebirds by purchasing one of our “Quinn the Arctic Tern” products. A portion of the proceeds will go directly to the Friends of Maine Coastal Islands Wildlife Refuge Center.
